Explore all training programmes ↗I was finishing my studies as Aerospace Engineer and wondering how could I get a position in the Space Sector, which has always been my passion, when I bumped into Eduardo and GNSS Academy.
Joining JSNP 7 was without any doubt a really good decision for me and my future. The training not only provides you with a deep knowledge about GNSS but also makes you develop your hard skills by developing a python project in parallel with the theory.
Both Eduardo and Alberto know how to show their passion about GNSS and make it yours.
What’s more, I fulfilled my dream finding a place for me in the Space industry thanks to the knowledge acquired during JSNP7 programme.
I had the pleasure of learning from Eduardo during a brief period that nonetheless allowed me to expand my knowledge in GNSS exponentially thanks to his expertise. His many years of experience in the GNSS industry have made him a remarkable mentor in this sector, one that is eager to transmit his passion to us engineers that will follow his steps.
Eduardo’s profile came to me at the most opportune moment in my professional career. I wanted to start a new stage in the GNSS field and decided to join his academy.
It was a great decision to start the JSNP programme, as they offer a very complete training, giving you access to a great variety of contents, both at a technical level, as they have very detailed and updated documentation, and at an experiential level, through talks with professionals in the sector. In addition, the platform allows individualised and close communication, which makes the process even more enriching, allowing you to share your learning with the rest of your colleagues.
Eduardo is a great professional and an attentive and approachable person, always willing to provide the necessary tools and share his knowledge. For me it has been a great experience to be part of the GNSS Academy.
It has been a privilege to have known Eduardo for over a year now and to have had the opportunity to observe his extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of GNSS. I had the fortune of being enrolled in the GNSS academy that he founded where I witnessed his contagious enthusiasm, energy, and passion for the subject. As a tutor, Eduardo is exceptional and always goes above and beyond to ensure that his students receive the best education possible, displaying genuine concern and encouragement for their growth and success.
The GNSS academy provides a comprehensive education on GNSS basic and advanced topics, and offers privileged access to a network of leading industry professionals and experts in the field. The quality of the content taught is unmatched and I am grateful for Eduardo’s dedication and efforts in consolidating this immersive knowledge and making it accessible to field engineers and enthusiasts.
Thank you Eduardo for your contribution to the GNSS community and to your commitment to providing higher level education in GNSS with top quality.
I had the chance to learn from Eduardo Tapias at the GNSS Academy, and I can’t recommend him enough.
Eduardo is a true expert in GNSS, and he has an amazing way of making complex topics easy to understand.
As someone who values education, I really appreciated how he combines theory with practice in the program. It’s not just about learning the concepts; it’s about applying them too, which has made a huge difference in my learning experience.
What really stands out is that, apart from his deep knowledge, Eduardo genuinely cares about his students. He’s always there to support and guide us, making sure we succeed not only in the program but also in our future careers.
If you’re looking for someone who’s both passionate about the field and dedicated to helping students grow, Eduardo is definitely the person to learn from.
Being graduated in Aerospace engineering and having some basic knowledge on GNSS made me doubt about this opportunity. 6 months later, it is crystal clear for me, joining JSNP was my best decision in far a long time. This is not only the equations that govern the problem, but also understanding how they really fit into the real GNSS architecture with a highly specialized insight; and more important, become part of the GNSS world. On the other hand, Eduardo and my tutor Alberto are passionate about their job, and really amazed me with their deep understanding on GNSS, not only academically but also professionally.
I had the opportunity and the big chance to join JSNP5 and benefit from it, covering GNSS concepts from the basic notion to the most advanced technologies with well-structured, organized, well-explained, and simplified courses. The content was rich in information, and also useful tools, links, and references. I highly recommend this training for any passionate person in the GNSS domain because it’s insightful and intriguing!
To add a final word about Eduardo, I was constantly amazed not only by his technical knowledge and the shared experience but also by his ability to keep us always motivated to carry on and to give our best.
I have known Eduardo for more than 20 years. He is very knowledgeable in GNSS, particularly in GNSS performance analysis. He has a lot of hands-on experience in both EGNOS and Galileo, where we coincided years ago.
He is also very entrepreneurial. He started up a venture in GNSS (in his case, in the field of training and education), and is deservedly succeeding. He also cares a lot for the people working around him and for his students.
But above all, Eduardo stands out for his unique enthusiasm, energy and commitment in everything he does!
I highly recommend Eduardo. I’m glad to have participated in the last years in the GNSS Academy he founded and hope to continue doing so.
After more than 20 years knowing Eduardo in the GNSS field, it still surprises me his passion and willingness to undertake new challenges.
Eduardo is able to re-invent himself after excelling in one field, be it at a large company, a newly created company or its own company !!!
He reminds me of the “If” poem by Rudyard Kipling: “If you can make one heap of all your winnings; and risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, and lose, and start again at your beginnings; and never breathe a word about your loss” but in the case of Eduardo without having lost a thing.
Eduardo knows what he wants and is authentic and that we don’t see everyday.
I came across Eduardo by chance a year ago. I had heard about his academy and wanted to be trained in GNSS. What I didn’t imagine was how much I would learn from him.
Eduardo is a special person. He has the ability to fight untiringly for his ambitions and to encourage others to do so. He manages to transmit his enthusiasm and motivate you until he brings out all the good in you. In 5 minutes talking to him you realise that not only is he passionate about his profession, but he is also tremendously generous and offers his time and help to help you achieve your goals.
As a teacher, he manages to focus your attention on the important things, and his extensive knowledge makes every class a fun, enriching and exciting experience. I have nothing but words of thanks for all that he has given me over the last months.
Eduardo was my mentor during my 5-month internship in the GNSS Academy. He is an inspiring and motivating person and I only have words of thanks to him.
Eduardo works with such powerful energy that makes everyone be focused on the topic and do their best. It was a pleasure to have the opportunity of learning from you. I want to keep enjoying with your professional achievements and I hope we can work together again. I wish you all the best in your career!

Eduardo Tapias, founder of GNSS Academy, graduated in Aeronautics in Madrid. With over 25 passionate years in the space sector of satellite navigation, he has dedicated his career to working in large multinational corporations and smaller firms, focusing primarily on the algorithmic core and system performance of the European navigation systems led by the European Space Agency (ESA) and the European Commission (EC).
Throughout his career, he has seen first-hand how difficult it is for companies to find well-prepared engineers for space, and how limited the specialised training is that truly matches industry needs. That gap, combined with his passion for teaching and his technical experience, led him to create GNSS Academy.
Today, he continues to witness the rapid growth of this market, with the development of new safe, reliable, resilient and precise navigation and timing systems for safety-critical applications such as robots and unmanned vehicles.
Driven by his passion for space technology, Eduardo supports the space market’s most valuable asset: engineers. Through GNSS Academy, he has established the E2S pathway to connect engineers with leading companies seeking qualified candidates through the JSNP Master Programme.
